She made use of her knowledge of village halls to increase hires and with the help of Paul Annstrong. set up a new tkIng System more suited to our needs. Raynor Sumner and Cath Hine have tsken on running the monthly Community Cafes. Colin parker has been helping wsth maintenanc¢ t&sk5 at the hall and looking at Health and Safety and Safeguarding regulations. We continue to have many regul8r lo1 hires from Bowl& Bridg¢. Scouts tangham Ladies Ctafy Ladies and Beekeepers &8 well as Pil8 Shogun and two regular Sunday churches. Iangham Film nights a monthly cinema with their choice of fihns and are provin8 very FX)pular. Charlotte Parker i)rganises a Memory Caf¢ each mODth. Shannon Barn has tsken over nmning the I (Kl Club

MauRen Shoukmith retired as Tre&T at last years, AGM but was COvopknI (as aiK)ve) until Carol Grime could take on th¢ p)sition in the earty autumn. Maureen th¢n left us in October. Sadly, Carol was unable to take on the rmisition fully and we w¢ without a Tre&gurer until Peter Freeman was c opted to fill this st at a managernent me¢tiog on 2 Imah. In the interim. the Secretsry tix)k on prepaTation of a monthly profit and loss account and resp)nsibilty for the pw c&sb. The ¢]tiOn of Peter to the w)sition of Trea8urer is proposed under it¢Jn 6 of the agetth Liz Winter resigned &s Secretary in D¢Mi wtth ¢ffect from the end of this AGM. Eleclion of a replacement will also be de< with under item 6. Alan thanked all this years Trustees for SUPFK)rting him and keeping the haIl running smcthly as possible in dtiTJcuh circumstances. He also thankd Emma Sfrvens for her efforts to procure more ire and overhaul the ixM)king system. Sadty, Emma submitted her resignatth on 3 March, and discussions are underway for a p)ssible change of staffing regirn¢ iKfore advertising th¢ vacancy. We are lucky that Cherl continues to hold the fort to deal with bking& meet and hi[5 and see to the day to day running of the centre. Fin&nee8: The Trustees are reSw)nsi]e for Preparation of the fuwicial statements and for keeping pror accounting rewrds which disclose the financial wsition of th¢ Charity. The m¢th(Kl employed is receipts and payments accounting. Our outgoings hav¢ remained high and reflect increased charges by maintenance ¢ontr4ctors as well inflation on purch and salory rises. On expiry of our ¢lectricty CA)ntract the supplier was changeAI to EDF at the iwitming of May 2024. We received not a singl¢ bill from them before the end of our financial year. In January 2025 all ¢spondence having been in vain. we tcK)k EDF to th¢ Energy Ombudsman citing the incoln¢¢ in handlin8 our accounL We finalty [e1Ved 6 invoices and 5 credit notes OD the Ombudsman's deadline of 2P March but there w&$ no time to ¢(SIder these and make any Yments befor¢ 31¥1 March.
