The charity continues to operate aid manage the Thornas Hughes Memorial Hall. also known as Uffington village hall, for the
benefit of local re51den15 and organisations as well as residents and organisations from further afield.
Sèetion D Achievements and perfomance
During the year the charity moved frorn a manual booking system lo an automated booking system using Hallmaster. The new
System has been integrated with the accounting ftjnction and makes booking and administration more efficient and effeclN'e.
The management committee has a poliey to rnaintain and improve the quality of the village hall Projects undertaken durin the
year included upgrading and instaling an audio-visual System In the small hall and upgrading the system in the large hall. In
addition, the floor In the entrance lobby and storerootn was replaced.
The income from hire of the halls incrèased by More than 50.10 in comparison with the prior'iear and the financial position is
stable.
