Oryanisalion
The Charity is administered by the Governors who are the TTUStees. Every TNst¢e holds office until helshe
shall die or shall Cease to hold office by virtue of ihe Articles of Association.
The day-to-day affairs of the Company are administered by the TN51ees whose Chairnian is Mr E
Inglander.
Where Ihere is 8 requirement for new Trustee& these would be identified and appointed by the r¢maining
Trustees. The Chairman of the Trustees would be respx)nsible for the induction of any new Trnsl¢e. which
involves aw&r¢ness of & Trustee's r¢5ponsibilities, the governing d(Kument. adminislrntive procedures, the
history and philosophical approach of the Charity. A new Tnjstee would receive copies of the previous year's

accordance with the orthodox Jewish faith. the relief of poverty and such other purposes as are recognised

The Trustees confirni their compliance with the duty to have due re8Ard to the public benefit guidance
published by the Charity Commission when reviewing the Charity's aims and objectives and in planning
futur¢ &ctivities.
Grani Making Policy
The Trustees are approached for donations by a wtde variety of charitable institutions operating in the
United Kingdom and abroad. The Trustees coiisider all requests which they receiv¢ and make donations
based on the level of funds available.

During the year the Company continued io pursue it5 philanthropi¢ objects in support of educational.

The financial p)sition ofthe Charity is satisfaclory.
Income from donations and investments aggregated £622,648. Totsl resources expend¢d were £602,852
resultin8 in a net surplus of £19.796 foT the year and total reserves of £202.734 (deficit) (2023 - £222,530
deficil).
Reserves Policy
The Res¢rv¢s Policy of the Ttustees is to maintain unrestricted funds. which Are th¢ free reserves of the
Charity, at 8 level they consider appropriate to the Charity's needs tsking into account likely future
requirements.
Prlncipal Uncertdlniles and Risk Managemenl
The Trustees have identified and reviewed the major risks to which the Charity is exposed. in p8rti¢ular
those related io the operation5 and finance of the Companyj and are satlsfied that syslems are in place to
manage thos¢ risks.
It is recogmised ihat systems can only provide reasonable but not absolute assurance that major risks have
been adequately managed.

PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS

RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIS OF REPORT
As the trustees of the company (and also ils directors forthe purposes of company law) you are responsible
for ihe preparation of the financial statemenis in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act
2006 ethe 2006 Aci,).
Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the ¢ompany are not required to be audited under Part 16 of
the 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respe¢t of my exaTnination of the
charity's accounts as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 ('the 2011 Aci.). In carryin8
out my examination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission under section
145{5)(b) of the 2011 Aci.

These financial stalements have been prepared in compliance with FRS 102, 'The Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland,, the Ststem¢nt of
Recotnmended Practice applicable to charities preparing their a¢counts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)
(Charities SORP (FRS 102)) and the Charities Act 2011.

Grants are charged in the period in which paid. ihey comprise donations to third-party
insiitulions in accordance with the charitable objects of the charity and its public benefit

Support costs
Support costs are thos¢ ¢osts which are Common to all areas of the organisalion. These are
allocated across all areas of activity on the basi5 ofthe number of service users for each activity.
GovernAnce costs
Governance costs are asso¢iated with the governance 8rrangements of the charity and relate to
the general running of the charity. These ¢osts include audil. legal advice for'l'rustees and costs
associated with m¢¢tin8 constitutional and slatutory requirements such as the Cost of Trustee
meetin8s and the preparation of the statutory accounts.
Taxallon
The Charity is not liable to dI￿t tsxation (corporation tax) on its income &$ it falls wiihin ihe
various exemptions available to registered Ch8rities.
Financial ittstruments
A financial asset or a financial liability 15 recognised only when the entity becomes a party to
the wntra¢tual provisions of the instrument.
Basic financial instruments are initially recognised at the amount receivable or payable
in¢ludin8 any related tf8nsaction costs, unless the arrangement constitutes a financing
