Following the decish)n of the Truslees last year regarding the best way to provide sUPPOrt
and advice to others. perhaps small local organlsatEons, and to Jolnlly with on
oneroff arts events for the benefft of tho communty, tho Trustees I￿lOw*￿ up an apwoach
to holp delw a celtbrauon ol the 8CQth anniversary of the Siege ol Bedlord ca$￿e. As Ihe
people vtho made the approach dKI not have any struthre upon vthlch any application for
funding could be made, appI￿atiOnS wore rnade lo the Herltage Lottery FurKI and the Loc81
Authodty in the name ol the Trust on the COndrt￿ that all finan¢e$ were deaK by and
through the Trustees. As a result a Fdece of theatre with muslc Was commissioned and
four free perfomances took place ovèr the August Bank Hollday weekend. On8 of the
conditions of the funding wa8 that the porfo￿anceS were provKled fr88 2nd suffichnt
nding was achbeved to make thL8 a possibilty. This proved very SUC￿55fv1.
Thls collaboratkjn has shw the TnJste8s that there Ss ithntiatly 8 role for the Tru6t to
play in such a cap8¢ty in the fvture and as a result the Trustees have commlssbned an
external advisor to prc#Juce a Business Plan wlth varying Opt￿n9 to Pro9￿$$ the Trustees.

The Gharitable company has continued to assist the promtlon of educational plays, musk,
film. da￿e and other arts activitres, encouraging activities vthich are accessible to all
members of the Communty. Durin9 the year there was Charitab￿ expendriure 01 £30.107
{2024.' £3,996} and income of £30.596 {2024'. £499). Thls resulted in a surplus of £489

The Trustses are reswnsible for preparing the Trustees, Report and financial statements In
