Introduttion
It is with great pleasure that I present the Chaimian's Annual ReFK)rt for Drayton Village Hall. Over the past
year, we have tontinued to serve as a vitsl hub for our community, providing a welcorning and well-
maintained space for local groups. events and activities. Despite ongoing challerges. our hard working team
of trustees, volunteers, and supporter5 have ensured the smooth rnnning of the hall and tts continued
SL*ttess.
Hall Usage and Community EnKagement
This year, we have seen a small increase in one off booktngs for the hall and a new Yoga group takirE a
regular booking slot. Existing regular users, indudirig frtness classe4 local dubs, and social groups, have
mained committed to using our faciltties.
On the downside, but primarily, due to personal issues the Drayton Players where forced to cancel their two
planned play5.
The hall continue5 to a ￿ntral point for the community, fostering Social interartion and engagement.
Financial Overvlew
The chariW5 financial position remains Stable, wtth revenue generated frorn hall hire, and fundraising efforts
covering our outgoings. We are mindful of riSinE operational costs and continue to manage our finan￿S
prudentty to ensure long-term sustainability.

We also received notification that the Village Hall had been left a bequeathment from a local resident, which
ha5 turned out to be quite a large Sum of morw whith is to be used forthe rna1ntenan￿ and improvement
of the Hall.
maintenan￿ and Improvements
Over the past year, we have urKlertaken several small rna1ntenan￿ projects to enhance the hall's usability
and safety. The one key improvement was the deCiS￿n to instigate the Installation of energy-efficient
lighting to redu￿ running costs and improve the aMI￿anCe in the Hall.

Volunteer Contrfbutlons
A heartfelt thank you goes trj ourvolunteers. whose dedication and hard work help keep the hall running
5moothlyp their contributions are invaluable. Specih"cthanks go to our bookings secretary, Margaret, who
continues to manage the lettings diary. We would like to encourage more community members to get
involved and support this vital local asset.
Looklng Ahead
Our priorities for the corning year include:
Expanding community engagement by encouraging new user groups.
Strengthening our committee member5 and volunteer network to ensure continued operational
success. We remain committed to making Drayton Willage Hall a thriving and ac￿$$Ible community
Space for all.
Completing essential improvements on a priority basis utilising fiinds from the bequeathment
