Constitution
Th¢ Loseley & Guildway Charitable Trust is constituted under a Injst deed dated 21
December 1973 and is a rcgistered ¢barity no. 267178.
The ch￿11Y has been funded by fllwicial and property donations from the More-
Molyneux famity.
Objectives ind acdviti¢s
Objecdves and acdvltles
The object5 of the charity are widely drawn to include making grants to charitsble
associations. trusts. societies, and Co￿0[atiOnS whether they are Iwal, national. or
international, The major part of the available fund8 tend to be di5tribuied locally to
charitable Anstithtions which the trustees consider to be particularly wortby of support.

Publ1¢ Benefit
The trust￿ ￿ttf1m1 that they have complied with the duty in section 17 of the
Chalilies Act 2011 and have r¢fert¢d to the guidanc¢ contained in the Charity
Commission's general guidance on public benefit when r¢viewillg the Cbarity's ain
and objcctives and in planning future activities and setting the don8tion5 policy for the
y&qr. As t￿￿teeS we believe we are providing public bcnefit to others which may
othctivise have not been in a position to afford to do so without such help. We
eJ)deavour lo make sur¢ were this is indirectly done through a third paty. as trustees
we are diligent in reviewing those third parties. previous aGtiviti¢s to ensure they will
achi¢ve our stated Charttable goals
Trultees
The t￿￿teeS who have served during the year are set out on pagc 2. The ttwte&8 are
appointed by the board of trustees. The trnstees are sele¢ted on the basis of their
un<krstanding of the issues faciog the Trust and arj understanding of its underlying
airns and objectives. The ttustees meet quarterly to dis¢uss the financial gituation and
propety matters and rcquests for donations.

Reserves pollcy
The reserves of ihe charity principally CQmPLlSe the properties and investments which
provide the income from which th¢ cl)arity is able to make donations atxl support its
charltable a¢tivities. It is the policy Of the t￿￿teeS to di&tribute the income annually
subject io r¢tsining sufficient fi￿d$ at Ihe bank to cover ongoing expenditure. Non¢ of
the funds of thc charity are rc8tricted funds.
Risk mAnagement
The trustees hav¢ ¢xaD]ined the major iisks that the fa￿5 and confinn that the
necessary steps have been taken to review 2nd redu￿ thes¢ risks on a regular basis.
Aehleyem¢nts and perforniance
Durills the year 28 chariti¢s wer¢ supported with donaiions ranging from £100 to
£5.(K)O whidL has allowed each beneficiary to further its own charitable aims. The
tr￿te￿ considered each donation to ensure it use would fit with The Loseley &
Guildway Charitable Trnst's own charitsble aims. We believe we have met those
intended aims throughout the year and continue to comply with the ChaTity
Commissions guidance on public benefit.

DuriThg the ye&t the investments were managed by M&G who report quarterly to the
tnjstees on the perforniance of the portfolio. The trustees reviewed the perfonnan¢e to
ensure the ￿ndS of the ChaTity were not placed at undue risk and the perfornisnce met
with ¥xpeGtations.
Total income for the ye8T was £81.608. Of this £39.322 was r¢lated to investment
income - an increase of £2,613 on the previous year. Total expenditt]re for the year
£109,572 of which £58,350 comprised donations. The investsneni maTket value
decr¢ased by £9,826 (£716.630 cotnpared to £726,456).

The trustees are required by law to prepare fmancial stat¢ments for each financial year
