Activities
The principal activity of the Foundation is the maintenance of the late Sir Edward Elgar's birthplace at Lower Broadheath, Worcester and of the collection of Elgar memorabilia and archive material. The Foundation is also concerned with the promotion of education in and an appreciation of Elgar's life and works.
Objects: 1. To Promote In Every Part Of The World Public Education In And Appreciation Of The Life And Works Of The Sir Edward Elgar. 2. To Maintain And Preserve, Or Assist In The Maintenance And Preservation Of The Birthplace Of The Late Sir Edward Elgar At Lower Broadheath Worcestershire And Any Other Property Of National Interest Connected With Sir Edward Elgar And Acquired For The Benefit Of The Nation.
