However, in recentyears we have been informing our supporter5 and Charitable Trusts of some of our needs, especially for special projects. Mr Kenneth McKee, and his wife Joan retired on 31st December 2024. Our current Centre Leader. Mrsanjaysanil. was appointed on 1StJanuary2025 and comm15siofied on 9 February 2025. Mr Sanil is a pastor based in Southampton, and we have therefore moved tsur gffice to share the address of his church in Winchester, registered with OSCR as well as the Charlty Commlssion in England. MT Sanjay sunil continues t? actively promote the work in the south of En8land, wblle a150 workin8 as a pastOT. He is also networking with other churches and missions and recruitin8 volunteers to work wi(h GRN UK. Some Board members contlnue to work as wolunteers. Mr Sam BOUIX, who is the European Region Director for GRN, is affilièted with GRN iJK but accountable to the European centre leaders as a group aod worfKS closely with the Intemational Dirertor. He is re5ponslble for promoting the work across Europe, and lor supporting the Centres {including the UK) and bases. He is also now a member of the International Leadership Team who, with the Interngtignal Director. make decisions for the Network as 8 whole: they aTe based in five drfferent continents but try to meet in person bi-ènnually. The current Board and Trustee5 consist ol three (two Tru5tee51 in En8land and four Ithree TTVSteesl in Scotland. (Mr Barry Smlth resigned as Trustee durln8 the year and Mr Fleming McNlven was appolnted.l This is not a problem ès currently the Board and Tfustees Iwth meet online except for one meet5ng a year, We have recruited some younser peopletothe board and hope to continuethis as some long-standing members approach retirement. Dtrnations tothe generèlfund and gifts from chariiabletrusts have continued to provldefor the needs of the work. We still have reserves frorn legaci¥ recelwed but ore conscious that they are shrinking so we have introduced ways of reducing our overheads. We have tontinued to support other GRN centre5 in the developing world duringthe year by tithing our income to aid the work in the devdopin8 world. We continue to supply MP3 players, to other Missions, to Churche5 and to indivlduals. some at cost price but many provided flee. However. dired downloading from the internet is now the way rnogt users access our materials, free of charge. Th¢ GRN website attracts large numbers ol visitors Ivho download materiaLs dire¢tly. With over ei8ht billion mobile phones currently being used across the world our mobile phone app, 5Fish, is becoming the way most of our recordings are dlstributed. It is also a mdhod by which the Gospel message can reach those who are interested in learning aboutjesus, or who want to 5tfen8Lhen their faith through simple Bible teachin8p in sensitive countries where acc&s to Chrlstian materials 15 not encouraged. The number of hours of material downloaded continues to increase. Some rnateria15 produced by Min1stry Partner5 are ?Iso available on SFish, including Bible L)r part &lble transi*lons. The need to ralse the profilè of the Mi$5ion wlth the Christian public and increase our support base continues to be Important. Like most mlssions wefind many of our individual supporters are ageing and we needto capture the interest trl younger Chrlstians. Mr Sanll and Mr Bouix take any opportunities they can find to promote the Work. God has contlnued to pmvide for the needs of the Mlssion and we believe this w111 continue as long as we focus op the task he has entrustedto us. Page14
