Activities
The charity's purpose is 1.To provide immediate assistance to Berkshire Mark Masons or their widows in time of need in compliance with our by laws; 2. Support to small local charities; 3. Support to one Berkshire-wide Charity each year;4. Support to National Charitable Giving through the Mark Benevolent Fund.Support to Option 1 will always receive first call on funds.
Objects: (A) To Make Grants For The Relief Of Mark Master Masons Who Are Or Were Members Of Mark Lodges Or Of Royal Ark Mariner Lodges In The Mark Province Of Berkshire, Or Their Wives, Widows, Widowed Mothers, Spinster Sisters,children, Civil Partners And Partners Defined As A Member Of An Established Couple Living Together Without Being Married Or In Civil Partnership Being In Every Case In Necessitous Circumstances. (B) To Make Donations To Any One Or More Of The Following Charities, Namely - The Grand Lodge Of Mark Master Masons Fund Of Benevolence, The Grand Charity Of The United Grand Lodge Of England, The Masonic Trust For Boys And Girls, The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution, The New Masonic Samaritan Fund, Other Trusts Or Bodies In The County Of Royal Berkshire Established Exclusively For Charitable Purposes.
