## **Achievements and Performance**

Our assistance has allowed**<br>**many young people access to technical**<br>**education and helped improve their**<br>**learning and living environment.**<br>**Annual grants are made to the 15 village**<br>**clinics we support enabling them to**<br>**purchase essential items not provided**<br>**by government. These grants are**<br>**channelled through the District Liaison**<br>**Officers who then audit the spending on**<br>**our behalf. We continue with a program**<br>**to ensure that all our supported clinics**<br>**are kept in good condition and have**<br>**access to reliable, safe water supplies.**<br>**These grants allow the clinics to operate**<br>**more effectively for the benefit of**<br>**villagers, particularly women and**<br>**children.**<br>**A classroom for the use of SEN children**<br>**has been built in Iyombo village using**<br>**funds donated by Cranbrook School, an**<br>**ex-Cranbrook pupil and using funds**<br>**from The Friends of Nzega, a charity**<br>**which has now ceased its operations.**<br>**In the villages of Mambali and Usisya we**<br>**have agreed to fund the construction of**<br>**maternity units.   It is expected that**<br>**these will be completed around August**<br>**2024.**<br>**Two boreholes were sunk near Kiloleni**<br>**village.  One is used by nearby**<br>**households and by herdsmen for**<br>**watering their cattle.  The second has**<br>**been connected to the newly built**<br>**maternity unit via a 3kmpipeline.**|





**Rainwater harvesting schemes have been completed at Ibambo and Nyasa clinics. A scheme to provide dietary help to expectant mothers attending our village clinics has received generous funding from The Archer Trust and others.  The funding already secured will enable this project to continue into 2025.**
