resident in the area of benefrt who have a physical or mental illness, are

set gut by the Chartty Commission and confimi that the Public B8nefit
test is met as evidenced by the Gontent of this report.

Achievements and performance
The Trustees held three meetings in 2023 at which various applications
for assistan￿ were considered and mostly approved. In the year grants
amounting to £19.878 were made, £16,158 to organisations and £3,720
to families or individuals. Further details of grants are contained in the
Financial Statements for year ended 31 D8¢ember 2023.

The Trustees seek to expend the majority of the income received in any
one year. Aso, they V￿3h to be able to make, at short nolice, a grant of up
to £10,000. To support svch a policy the trustees attempt to maintain a
workn'ng balance between £10,000 and £20,000.
