Its address is at New Riverside House 439 Lower Broughton Road Salford M7 2FX. The charity trustees during the year were: Mr A Vatsfiche Mrs. E. Vaisfiche Mr Naftoli Halpern The obiect of the charity is tr) provide assistan. To relieve poverty; To support educational estab]ishments; To support religious education. The administration of the trust is carried out by the Trustees. The income of the charity is received by way of Gift Aid, donations, intere5L rent and dividends. The Trustees examine all grant applications and they decide on the level of grant to be made depending on the cause and the level of reserves. Iusk Review The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, in particular those related to the operation5 and finance of the charity, and are satssfied that systems are in Pla to mitigate those risks. Grant Making Policy The charity is funded by donations and also from inveslment income. The charity gives out grants in line with the above objectives and in accordance with the charities grant making policy. The trustees confirni theiT comp]iance with the duty to have due regard to the pub]ic benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission when reviewing the cIwity's aims and objectives and in planning its £uture activities. Grants given during the year totalled £21£415. The grants were all in accordance with the charities obj'ectives. Financial Review In the current year the charity was successful in meeting its aims. Investments The charity has a portfo]io of investment properties. The rental ineome derived is to create an income stream for the charkty. The charity's investment properties are included in the balan sheeL The valuations are derived having consulted with l(Kal estate agents and with the tteeS best esttmate of market value at the balance sheet date. The tlee$ have extensive experience in the field of property investment and valuation which has accumukted over a considerable amount of time. Investment Powers and Policy In accordance with the trust deed, the charity has power to make any invesknents which the trustees see fit. The trustees regularly Teview the charity's position and needs in respect of the investment policy. Reserves Polxey It is the policy of the charity to niaintain unrestricted funds, which are free reserves of the charity at a level which the trustees think appropriate after considering the future commitments of the charity and likeIy costs 0£ the charity for the next year. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
