**Objects:** TO PROVIDE AND MAINTIAN A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF CHIRTON AND ADJOINING PARISHES WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** The Village Hall is now no longer used for village activities. The village at a public meeting showed no support for further use of the Hall. It is now being considered for sale and any profits will be used for the benefit of the village, probably through the building of a new facility with Chirton School . The structure of the present building makes it unviable for its former use.
