**Objects:** (A) TO ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS OF ARCHITECTURE AND TOWN PLANNING IN WELLINGBOROUGH AND THE DISTRICT AROUND.  (B) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN AND CARE FOR THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF THE AREA OF THE TOWN AND ITS SURROUNDINGS.  (C) TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION DEVELEPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY OF HISTORIC INTEREST.  (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF CONSTITUTION)

**Activities:** To monitor and advise on planning matters in the Borough of Wellingborough and encourage good architecture, to make Wellingborough a place of which to be proud.
