Our 2024r25 Season presented three outstandlng concerts to good slzed and very
appr8cialfv8 audiences.
We started wlth another excellent perforynance of Messlah at St Nlcolas. church
where the choir gave a ¢xnlldent and Iprfely perforynance SUPFK)rted by a very strong
quartet of soloists and our Music Director, Rct)yn Sevastos, usual group of
OLrtstarTrding players. Though the thurch was ￿ld, the apP￿se was vary warm

Our sprfno t8nn concert In Pamoja Concert Hall at S8venoaks School contrasled
Requlems of trjo near<ont8mporary French composers- Gabriel Fauré and
Maurice Duruflé and cop&J marvellously the two Very dtfferent stybs ol
muslc. Our Accompanist, Tracey RenvAck also coped admirably wlth tho Organ
Console whlch contrlved an annoylng delay between key d8presslon and sound
production. The audience for thls cOn(￿rt was onty a11tt18 lower than for lknsslah
which is a goc(l attendance for concerts at thls venue.
We brought the 88ason to a real dlmax wlth a Jolnl Concert wlth Sevenoaks
Symphony Orchestra urKler the baton of theSr CorKluctor, Darrell Davlson. As part of
the programme SSO perform￿ Vaughan Wllllams. The Lark AscerKllrKJ with
brflllant young Vlolln Sololsl. The Cholr gave a s￿nn1r￿j p8rtornance of
Vaughan Wllllams, A Sea Symphony.
We had run another Successful Singing Development Day wtth Jack Apperley as part
of our preparatlon for thls concert aNI were lolned on the day by 25 gu8St slngers
who bolstered the sound of our members and helped us get the slrvJlng oul over the
powerful playlng of SSO.
SPS produces its Statement of Ftnandal AcUvltl8s {°SoFAI In the form of Its Annual
Accounts in reliance on S8cllon 4.2 of Charities SORP FRS 102. A copy ot the
Annual Accounts for 2024r251s uploaded separately to The Charlty Commlssbn
Webste. The flnandal outcome ot our Choir Year 2024rd5 was revlewed by the
Management Committee at Its meeUNJ on 9 Oclober 2025.
SPS ach￿Ved a very healthy surplus of £4,754 fromlts 2024125 Actlvltles and
finished the year V￿th Financial Reserves 01 £46.743 which provlde a cushion of lust
under 19 months Total Operating Expendilure of based on those of 2024125 whlch
were £29.735. Th8 Commlttee belleve thai thFS places SPS In a strong position to
contlnue its actlvilies into the fulure.
All of these funds are owned by SPS as unrestricted funds. SPS does not hold funds
on behalf of others, neither does it hold any regtrlcted funds.
