The Trust w&$ created by Mr Henry Davis by D¢ed on 9 D¢c¢mkr 1971 and ￿ paid the sum of £10 to
the TnLslees. On 19 January 1972 Mr Davis made a gift of cash amounting to £10.155.55 to the
Trustees. On 31 January 1972 Mr Davis made a furt￿ gift of omouoting to £2.629.36 to the
Trustees.
In March 2001 the Trustees of the Frank & EDid Rubens Highgale Trust IRegisteroJ Chllrity Number
272139) gifted all their assets to the Charity. The total value of the ￿ets tf8fL8fertrd w&8 £155,710.

Th¢ Obj¢ctive$ of the Tr￿st are s¢t out in CI8u5e 3 of the T￿￿ De•J which ststes that the Trustees shall
hold the Trust Fund and the income thereof upon trust firstly to pay there from a]1 the proper costs and
expenses incurrtd by the Trustees in administering the Trust and the property thereof and subject
thereto to pay or apply the income themf and such part of the capitsl thereof as the Trustee$ sh￿1 in
their absolute discretion from time lo time think fit to or towards or for the advancemeni of or in
fiJrther8n¢¢ of s￿￿ Charitsble Purposes or Charitable Institutions and in such proportions as the

PUBLIC BENEFIT
In meeting the objectives of the TrtL%t th¢ Trustees have giv¢n wefu] conSide￿10n to the ch￿lty
Commission's genernl guidance on public irnefit and are Satisfi￿ that all donations made meet this
guidanc¢.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
The Tn￿tee5 have continued to apply their funds in accordance with the objectives of the Tn￿ and the
other provisions of the Tn￿ Deed. DonatiOL8 totalling £313(M) (2023: £28.41y)) have be￿ made in
restKd of the year.
FINANCIAL REVIEW

The TnLStees are satisfied with the state of th¢ ThL¢s affairs.

The investsn¢nts are managed by Rathbon¢s Investment Management on a Dis¢retion8ry basis. The
invesbnent objectives 8r¢ balanced aThJ the risk l¢v¢l is tnedium.
RESERVES POLICY
The Tn￿$ Reserves aTe held L8 Unrestrided Funds which the Tn￿tteS regard as expendable
endovmi¢nl. It is the Tntstees, policy to n￿1n￿lD and wherever FKtssible to incr¢ase its value. so &8 to
generate income to make ryits in accordance with the objectives of the TrusL
PLANS FOR YirruRE PERIODS
The Tr￿st¢eS intend to continue to support chatities within the objectives and there are no
immediate plans to al￿ the way in whith the T￿￿ is nor the way in which income is expended.
STATEMENT OF THE TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITILS
Charity Law requires the Tn￿le¢S Io Prepare Financial Ststements for each financia] year which give a
true and fair view of the TnLsfs fuwi¢i81 a￿1VItieS during the ye8r and of its financial position at the end

that an audit is not required for the year under Wion 144(2) of th¢ Charitiefj ArA 201 I (the 2011 Act)

Our examination was carried oul in accordancc with the 8t￿rnI Directions givcn by th¢ Charity

comparison of the Financial Sfat¢m¢nts presented with those recLJrds. It also includes consideration of
