E) TO PURSUE THESE ENDS (INTER ALIA) BY (I) MEETINGS, EXHIBITIONS, LECTURES AND FILM SHOWS; (II) THE PUBLICATION OF BOOKS, PAMPHLETS AND NEWSHEETS; (III) EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS; (IV) THE SALE OF PUBLICATIONS AND OTHER MATERIAL; (V) MAKING APPEALS, SOLICITING DONATIONS AND COLLECTING MONIES.

**Activities:** The North Downs Society is a public amenity society with the following objects: a) to conserve natural features and ecology, b) to encourage the preservation of buildings of historic interest and a high standard of design in all new developments and planning proposals, c) to stimulate public interest in the history, character, beauty and wild-life of the countryside, d) to further general amenity.
