**Objects:** TO PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE AMENITIES OF THE BOROUGH OF WISBECH, IN THE ISLE OF ELY AND COUNTY OF CAMBRIDGE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS, AND FOR THAT PURPOSE TO ACQUIRE LAND AND BUILDINGS IN THE VICINITY OF WISBECH AND TO CONSERVE THE NATURAL FEATURES AND TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH LAND AND BUILDINGS UPON LINES CONSONANT WITH THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST.

**Activities:** Stimulating local interest in the preservation of the architectural beauty of Wisbech.Encouraging the creation of good modern buildings which generations to come will consider worthy of preservation.Representing the views of the Society to local, county and other authorities and to co-operate with them to secure these ends.Helping in every way the cultural life of Wisbech.
