**Objects:** TO PROMOTE AND TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE SCIENCE OF ASTRONOMYTO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE SOCIETY FACILITIES FOR MEMBERS WHO WISH TO PRACTICE ASTRONOMY

**Activities:** The Norwich Astronomical Society has two aims; to provide facilities for those who wish to study and enjoy the night sky and to educate the public in astronomy and other space related subjects.  The Society achieves this by encouraging membership from all walks of life and by running public lectures and observing sessions throughout the year.
