BEER CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
TREASURERS REPORT 2021
The Church has been so Blessed and we thank God for the faet that we are in such a healthy
positian. Thank you all for your support during the year, in fact despite the cost of living
problems, our offerings have increased by over 10 %. I would also like to say a speeial thanks
to our associale members Ivho generously support us with monthly gifts. Also the Goverment
scheme of Gift Aid has resulted in a refund of over £2,000.
This year has not seen any large expenses, which has contributed in p&rt to the increase in our
overall bank balances and we bave been helped Ihat our Gas and Electricity price5 have not
increased in 2022 because our contracts don't come to a end until later in 2023. 1 do think the
Manse will need painting outside soon, however our tenant, Mr5 Nickie Seignot, bas
purchased a house ID Park Road, but her new property lleeds a lot of renovating) so she will
nol be leaving until later in the year. In view of this it would seem painting could be left until
the property is empty.
The restart of Coffee Mornings have been a useful Contribution to our income* grateful thanks
to all the helpers and everyoDe who bring such lovely cakes ete. The Coffee Morning have
proved very popular and it's good to see so many people from the village eoming. The hall
since it was modernized has been used so much and as we keep eontributions low it has
become a real village amenity.
Giving the new Church ealender to our members and our regular visitor friends proved 8
popular way of saying thanks for everyones love and supporL
l am so pleased that our donations to other organisations, as well as continuing to support the
two children in Honduras through Compassion, are up by over £1,2(K) from 2021, we gave
away more than 10 % of our income- very Biblical.

thtng they do, the Church Ivould not be in the positionit is, without their Cbristian work and
friendship.
