TO ENCOURAGE SERVICE WITHIN THE HINDU COMMUNITY AND ALSO IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY OF MEDWAY TOWNS.3. TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING OF THE CHARITY’S MEMBERS THROUGH COLLABORATIVE SOCIAL, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY.4. TO BRING ABOUT MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING HARMONY AND UNITY BETWEEN EASTERN AND WESTERN THOUGHTS5. TO GENERALLY DO ALL SUCH ACTS AS MAY BE LAWFULLY DONE BY A CHARITABLE BODY ESTABLISHED AND RECOGNISED AS SUCH BY THE LAW OF ENGLAND.

**Activities:** We hold religious, social and cultural functions and collective Hindu worship. Our youth wing learns and exhibits folk and cultural dances/songs at our events and is a very active group. We run a senior citizens' group that meets once a week and engages in physical, social, cultural and religious activities.
