The charity was registered in February 1971 and the governing document was updated on 21[st] January 1980, then amended on 27[th] August 1996 and 22[nd] February 2002.
Objectives and Activities
Provision of Housing for those of limited means of the Church of England resident in Devon with a preference given to Clergy, their wives/husbands and widows/widowers or if no suitable applicant to a poor person in Devon with a preference given to widows
To apply the income for the benefit of the residents in the homes of the charity or any of them in such manner as the trustees think fit.
Review of the year including financial review
There has been a slight increase in rentals in the year. During the year the trustees continued to maintain and update properties as necessary.
The year end funds are healthy which will allow us to repair the various properties going forward.

Independent Examlnerfs Report to the Trustees of Lady Lucie Reynell's Charity Charity no. 262114 I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Lady Lucie Reynell's Charity th for the year ended 28 February 2023. Responsibillties and basis of the report As the charity trustees of the charty you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act). I report in respect of my examination of the charitrfs accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5llb) of the Act. Independent examinerfs statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: l. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the church as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. The account5 do not accord with those records.
