ALICE CROFT HOUSE TRUSTEE'S REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MAY 2025 The Trustees of Alice Croft House present their Annual Report and the Financial Statements of the Charity for the year ended 31 May 2025. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES The obJ8ctive of the charity is for the benelil and welfare of beneflaria5. wthout distinction of politscal, religious, or other opinions, with the aim of improving their condition of life. Tho benef1?[1$ are inhabitant5 of the area of benafit who have reaehed the age of fifty. The area of benefit is within a seven-mile radius of Easlbourn8 Town Hall. In planning activities for the year, the trustees kept in mind the Charty Commission's Guidance on Public Benefit al their meetings. ACHIEV DPE The following improvements were made during the year.. .Ihe front drive and path of tho dub hav8 been larmacked. •New lights were instsll@d in th8 snooker room. .New pushars war8 purchased for the Kurling group. .Irhere was a 8wilch from Good Energy lo Brrtish Gas Life for both thè 8hop and ¢lub. .Some old office chairs and rubbish were removed from the basament. .igew smart gas metr88 were installed. .he mgin hall and lower lollel¥ We repalnled, plug the haIaY from the toilet to the moin hall. .eia8tic wa8 placed under hond dryers in 911 toil81B. The Glub continues to advertlse across ils social media platforms. During the year, th6 Shop rgmained bu8y, generating vilol income for the charity. Thank5 are expressed lo all our volunteers who freely gave up their lime. Rlgk Management Thg Tru8tee8 have assassed the major risk8 to which the charity 18 exposed. and are satisfied that sy¥lem8 are In place lo mitigate exp08ure lo m8jor risks.
