**Activities:** To bring relief to anyone in the local Harpenden community who is in need - either by offering assistance from local sources or by putting the person in touch with an appropriate specialised welfare service.  Direct help is offered in the form of transport for people who are unable to use public transport or responding to any request for "good neighbour" help e.g. shopping, gardening, or company.
