The - Feoffèes proposed that the Charitable aims ol both branches would be better proteoted and both more re5iliantand flexible for the current financi81 ctimate following a mergèr. In Octobèr 2024. the Charity Commissior> prgp05ed maknng tsne scheme that governs both ehaTilies thatwill be able lo give eff6Ct to the transfer of the benefic181 ownership of the assets of the Relief charity into the Church charity and the change of objects ofthe Church charty and attached a draft scheme for the Feoffees considerabon. In orderto proceedwth aformal applieation for a scheme, th8 trustees made 8forrnal decision to applyfora scheme allheir meeting of12 December2024.
