**Objects:** THE FURTHERANCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF ORCHIDACEOUS PLANTS BY ENCOURAGING THE CULTIVATION OF THESE PLANTS, GATHERING AND DISSEMINATING PARTICULARS OF THEIR CULTIVATION, THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS AND SHOWS, AND IN OTHER WAYS, AND IN GENERAL TO UNDERTAKE ANY ACTIVITIES THAT SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE SOCIETY IS CONSTITUTED.

**Activities:** The object of the Society is the furtherance of the knowledge and conservation of Orchidaceous plants by encouraging the cultivation of these plants; also gathering and disseminating particulars of their cultivation by holding meetings and shows, and publication of a quarterly Journal.
