## Activities

**Objects:** TO STIMULATE CIVIC PRIDE IN THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF SCARBOROUGH AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. TO TAKE AN ACTIVE INTEREST IN MAINTAINING THOSE FEATURES ON WHICH THE CHARACTER OF THE TOWN DEPENDS. FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF CONSTITUTION

**Activities:** The objects of the charity are to stimulate civic pride in the beauty, history and character of Scarborough and its surroundings and to take an active interest in maintaining those features on which the character of the town depends. During the year the society's activities included commenting on planning applications, participating in heritage open days, raising funds and organising town walks.
