**Objects:** A) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY THE STUDY OF LOCAL AND NATURAL HISTORY IN THE TOWN AND HINTERLAND OF CHEPSTOW. B) TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE FEATURES OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY OF HISTORIC INTEREST. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS OF OBJECTS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF ABOVE CONSTITUTION).

**Activities:** Organising and controlling financing of excursions and both annual & summer garden parties, open to members only. These to be of historical or nature interest (excursions) only.Monthly talks on local and historic items of interest, especially about Chepstow.Digitisation of Ivor Walters books on historic Chepstow, previously published between 1950s and 1970s
