B) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. C)TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP AN AWARENESS OF, AND INVOLVEMENT IN, SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ASPECTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT

**Activities:** Research and education about local heritage and preservation of the built heritage of Barton upon Humber. The society develops archives and interprets local history through a series of information leaflets, building plaques, lecture and talks.
