Garstang & District Arts Society
Report for period 1st January 2024 to 31st December 2024
The Arts Centre continues to flourish and membership is slowly increasing post Covid. We have regular Executive Committee meetings and the Trustees and Executive work closely with the Curator and Assistant Curator.
The Schoolroom at the Arts Centre has been refurbished and is a brighter and more welcoming place for the public to meet and have coffee. The Town Trust who own the building took charge of the refurbishment and we are paying contributions towards this over the coming months.
The Arts Centre is busy and is used every day by multiple Groups
We had another Summer Celebration of Art and Music culminating in another very successful 'Plein Air' competition which helped businesses in the Town.
