**Objects:** THE SOCIETY IS ESTABLISHED FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE POSTAL AREA OF BRISTOLBS8 ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:(1) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN ORAFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT(2) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE GEOGRAPHY HISTORY NATURAL HISTORY ANDARCHITECTURE OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT(3) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION PROTECTION DEVELOPMENT ANDIMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC ENVIRONMENTAL AND PUBLIC INTEREST INTHE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** The Society is established for public benefit in the Bristol BS8 area to a) promote high standards of planning & architecture in BS8, b) educate the public in the geography, history, natural history & architecture of BS8, c) secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of historic environmental & public interest in BS8.
