GOVERNING DOCUMENT Trust deed dated 18 February 1954, and Scheme of 4 Ortober 1978. PERFORMANCE DURING THE YEAR The Scheme continued to provide homes for aged miners. colliery workers and their dependant relatives at maximum occupancy level. The Scheme owns 14 bungalows located in Armthorpe. Airedale, South Anston. Darfield, Hemsworth, Monk Bretton and Netherton currently providing residential accommodation for over 20 members of the mining community. FINANCIAL REVIEW During the year, the Scheme completed the comprehensive refurbishment of a Scheme property located in Monk Bretton, which had commenced in March 2022. The property had been re-let from I September 2022. The Scheme realised a surplus of £9.551 durin8 the year ended 31 December 2023, after repair costs of £6,838. The Trustees regard this as a satisfartory performance. The Accumulated Fund increased to £156,290 of which £92,836 was represented by cash reserves held at the bank. The Trustees consider the year end position to be satisfactory and that it ensures there are adequate funds available for the provision of the Scheme's objertives. SCHEME MANAGEMENT During the Scheme year there were no changes to Scheme Management arrangements.
