The Scheme owns 14 bungalows located in Armthorpe, Airedale, South Anston, Darfield, Hemsworth, Monk Bretton and Netherton currently providing residential accommodation for over 20 members of the mining community. ## FINANCIAL REVIEW The Scheme realised a surplus of £8,395 during the year ended 31 December 2021 and the Trustees regard this as a satisfactory performance. The Accumulated Fund increased to £174,224 of which £111,604 was represented by cash reserves held at the bank. The Trustees consider this to be satisfactory and ensures that there are adequate funds available for the provision of the Scheme’s objectives. Subsequent to the year end, the Scheme was informed of the death of a resident, and a comprehensive refurbishment of the property, located in Monk Bretton, commenced in March 2022. The property was re-let from 1 September 2022. The refurbishment cost will be reflected in the annual report for the year ended 31 December 2022. ## SCHEME MANAGEMENT During the Scheme year there were no changes to Scheme Management arrangements.
