## **Risk Management**
The Trustees are responsible for the risks faced by the charity and have reviewed the major risks and measures for their mitigation as part of an ongoing process. They are satisfied that the process adopted is adequate to identify and mitigate any impact which such risks might have on the charity or its activities in the future.
## **South Ossett Baptist Church ( Charity No. 259205) Annual Report 2021**
## **Objectives and Activities**
The principal object of the charity is to provide a focus for Christian worship in South Ossett and to support the Community.
Regular Weekly Meetings were held throughout 2021 either in person or online
'Cafe Christos' a community support event on Fridays continued to attract 30/40 people each week either in person or online.
Monthly Messy Church events were held on Saturday afternoons during the last quarter of the year.
Debt and Benefit Advice and Post Natal Counselling was offered in partnership with the charity Lifeboat Community Project.
## **Financial Review**
The church's finances continue to be soundly based.
There was a planned deficit ( in respect of student minister's college costs ) of £3.7k in 2021. A return to a balanced budget over the next eighteen months is forecast.
Year end reserves of £17,488 (56% of annual turnover) were held on general account.

of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusfs accounts carried out under
section 145 of the Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed the
applicable dircctions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b)
of the Act.
I have completed my cxamination, I confm that no material Matte have Come
to my attention in connection with the exatnination which giv£s tne cause to
believe that in any tnaterial respect =
accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act
or the accounts do not accord with the accounting records.
