The Blues and Royals Association Annual Financial Report for 202312024 Alms and Objertlves. During the past year the Association has continued to maintain its alms and objertives as laid down in the Constitution and Rules. In support of application for assistance. from members of the Associatlon the sum of £24,705.96 has been distributed from the funds to contribute to 24 number of cases, which have been seen and sanctioned by the committee. The Associatlon Lh Annual Dinner was held at The Castle Hotel, Windsor on Saturday 30 March 2024. with 220 members in attendance. The Annual General Meeting was held prior to the dinner, and the mlnutes of this meeting are in this yearfs Regimental Journal. Summary of Flnanclal Asslstance glven durlng the year. Applications received 28 Grants l Donations made 24 Appllcations referred to other funds 14 Reasons for alstance. The following Is a summary of the maln purposes for which grants i donations bvere made during the past year: Accommodatlon Costs Clothing l Food Vouchers WhitelBrown Goods Invalldity/ EPV Cost of Living Courses Rehab Cost In-Pensioner Xmas Grants Income. Income durlng the year was £99.554.20 of which £48,924.07 was contributed by either serving officers or soldiers under the"One Days, Pay Scheme" 51 % was kept by the Association for charitable use, 4996 was transferred to the Household Cavalry Foundatlon. Donations were also received from member5 of the A55OClation. The Dividends received from the Associatlons Investments amounted to £23.379.00 for this financial year, these were reinvested into the portfolio. Expenditure. Expenditure for the year totalled £98,801.58, these costs were made up from the Grants made by the Association and varies administrative expenditures in support of the A55ociation Members including. transport for organise events i.e. Battlefield Tours, memorial parades, and dinner nights. It also covers admln cost for IT Support, insurance policies, Honorariums.
