Report of the Trustees
The Trustee5 have pleasure in presenting their report and financial statements for the year
ended 5 April 2026. The financial Statements comply wirh applicable statutory requirements and
rhe Trust's governing document 2nd the current Statements of Recommended Prd¢tice ftsr
AccounEing and Reporting by Charities.
Structurey governance and management
The Trust is governed by the Trust deed dated 9 April 1969 as amended 5 luly 2002 and
20 August 2008. The power of appointing new Trustees of the Trust is vesied in rhe exiscing
Trustee5.
Statement of Trustees responsibilities
Under the Trust deed and charity liw, the Trustees are required zo prepare financial statements
for each financial year which give a true and fair View of rhe stare of affair5 of the chariry at the
year end and of its incoming resource5 and resources expended during the year. In preparing
those financial sr2£ements, generally accepted accounting prauice enrails rha£ the Trustees-

of charicy law. They are responsible for keeping proper accounting record5 which disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the chariry. Thèy iro also responsible
for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable sieps for the
prevention and detection of fr&ud and oiher irregularitye5.
As far as the Tru5tee5 are aware:

Achievements and performance
During the year the Trust received investment income and donations amounting to £48,162

Public bènefit
The Trusrees confirm that they have complied with the dury in settion 4 of the Charities Acc
2006 to have due regard ro the Charity Commission'5 general guidance on public benefi¢

Financi￿ rèvièw
The Trus￿eS have considered the risks which £he charity is facing and have concluded that rhere
are no long term financial commitments which have been made to good causes and there are no
commitmenu to pay administration costs. After considerarion the Irustses do not believe that
there are any ris￿ of potsntial clairns from third parcie5 which they envisage being made against
them. Annual income and expenditure are normally broadly in line.
The charity does not own any assets other than the financial asser5 and although these max
reduce in value as a ￿$￿1[ of a fall in financial markets the governor5 believe that Ihe risk profjle
15 appropriate Eo the long term needs of the charity.
Reserves policy
The Trustees current policy 15 to distrribute the available income amongst a number of charitable
insutution5. trusts and undertakings operatyDg in the Starnford area.

Respective responsibilities of Trustees and examiner
As the Charirf5 Truscees you are responsible for the preparation of the iccouncs; you consider
that the audit requirement of settion 144 of the CharTties ACE 2011 (the ACE) does not apply for
this year and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my ￿ponSibl11￿ to e￿mIne the account5 (under 5ectyon 145 of the Act). to follow the
procedures laid down in the General Direttions given by the Charity Commissioners (under
settion 145(5bl of the Act), and w statr whether parricular macrers have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiners report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of
any unusual itrms or disc105ures in Ehe accounts, and the seeknng of explanations from you as
Trustees concerning any such matter5. The procedures underraken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequendy, I do not ￿PresS an audi£ opirjion
on the view given by the accounts.

Accounting polÈcies
Accounting convention
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost ctsnvention as modified
by the inclusion of investments at market value aftd in accordance with the financial
reporting s￿ndard for smaller enrities (effettive January 20051 and Ihe Charityes Att
2011. In preparing the financial statements the charity follow5 best pt7ttice a5 laid down
in rhe statement of recomrnended prattice "Accounting and Reporting by Char5tie5"
ISOKP 20051 issued March 2005. The charicy has raken advantage Of the exemption in
FRSI from the requirernent to produce a cash fIow statement because li is a small
chartw.
Incoming resource5
Voluntary income is receNed by way of donations and gift5 and is included in full
in the Starement of Financial Acuviries when receivable. Gifts donated for r&ile
are included as income when they are 501d. Donaied assets are included at the value Eo
the chariry where this can be quantrfied. and a third person 15 bearing the cost The value
of Services provided by Yelunteers has not been included.
Income from inve5tment$ 15 included in the year in which it 15 receivable.
Resources expended
Liabilities a￿ recognised as resources expended as soon as there is a legal or
ctsnstructive obligation committing the charity to the expenditure. All expenditure is
accounred for on an accrua15 ba515 and has been cla55ified under headings that aggregate
all costs related to the category. Resources expended include attributable VAT which
cannot be recovered.

investment income and holding cash deposits.
Charitable activities

Donation5 payable for the furtherance of charity objectives
Donations payable are payments made to third partie5 in the furtherance of the
charitable objettive5 of the charity. Single or rnulty-year grants are accounted for
when either the recipient has a rèxsonable expecr2tion that they will receive a grant
and Ihe Irustees have agreed ro pay the grant without condiiion, or the recipieni has a

1.4 Investments
Fixed asset investments are included at market valu2 at the balance sheet date. Any gain or
loss on revaluation 15 allocated to the State￿ent of Financi￿ Attivities.

Under SEttion 505 ICTA 1988 rhe chariy is exempt from cerrin ttxes. Full account is

There were no employees during the year. No remuneration ha5 been paid to the Trustees
in either the current or preceding period. The chariry has noi meE any individual expenses
