The main activity of The Charity is the hiring of the all on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis to local groups and societies and for one off parties and events.The Hall is hird out to local groups free of charge i.e Parish Council, Church, Fete Committee etc and for local fund raising events.

Objects: To Be Used In Perpetuity As A Non-Sectarian And Non-Political Place Of Recreation And Social Intercourse Under The Name Of Chawton Village Hall For The Advantage Or Benefit Generally Of The Inhabitants Of The Siad Parish Of Chawton Either Gratuitously Or In Consideration Of Any Money Payment Or On Such Terms As The Trustees May Think Fit.
