the Covid-19 pandemic hit U5 In Marrh 2020. This resulted in a complete 5U5pensÉon of boatinu ￿enue hiTe and
lea rooTn a¢riviti¢s. with a consequent drastic reduction in oui income. Thanks to Governmcni Aid, includsiig the
Job Retrntion Scheme and Small Bwin¢ss GtanL togtther ￿7th membership income and donations from
members and others our financial position Is noi as dire as it could be. We a150 took on a'bounce back, ltsan of
£ )O,000 ai very favourable rdits. Ive also received a don￿10￿ of £IO.000 from ihe M'indin4 up of Rii'er Siour
Boatin£ iviih the proviso Ihai it was ringfenced for jeuv maintenance and other improiiernents Ihai beiiefii

The Irustee5 continued to meet regularlv. via the online facilily o(Zwm 3#d dtscussed many issues. Foremost in
our deliberations ivas the safeThJ of our SLqff. volunteers and ihe public. E¥'ea when sorn¢ of the lo¢kdown
restrictions were lifted we decided that it ￿ IIOE safe io re-stsrt Olkr boat trips. We also held an online AGM.
However we did run Sudbury to the Sei albeil with a redll￿d nwnber of craft and with full social disLqncing.
