convalesc8nc8. MeTnber8hip of the fvnd is open to 911 s¢tvlng offlcers of Norfolk CDnsl8bulary.
The fund asslsts members. former memb8rs, their widows, orph8llS and dep8ndants In Ilm85 of hardshlp. The
fund aims to harp current members In need lo return more quickly to perfomi Lhalr duti6s lo tha public.

In shaplng our objectlves for tha y8ar and plannlng Qur actlvilies, the Trustees have consldered the Charity
Commissions guidance on public benefit when setting th8 objBctive3 forth¥ year.
The Tnjstees confim Ihat they hav8 cornplled wlth the duty In secuon 4 of th& Charltles Act 2011.

The fund g8nerales thè malorfty of Ib Incomè from monthly contrtbutEons made by offic8rs In tho Norfolk force.
(Xher Income is derlved from donalions an¢J collection boxes 81 each of the statlonp.
Investment Income is earned from balance8 held In th8 fund's bank 8¢coun￿, Charlfund Unlts held wllh M & G
Securiues Llmlted, and Snvoslm¢nts In COIF Charflles Funds.
The fund owns and operates two mobi18 homes 8t Kolllng Heath. One moblle home Is used lo provSde free respite
a¢commodation for members In need and was used by resplle cas9$ durlng th6 yaar. The second is let to
membars for short b￿Sk5 to generate Income lo help finance the running costs of both mobile homes. The fees
harged are revlewed annually. Tha runnlng costs ara reviewed regularly and the future of th& mobile homes
contlnue$ lo be r¢vl8w&d.
During Ihg year 16 12023.. 1518pplirstions for finan¢ial asslstance ware received of which 8 12023.. 61 w8re
approved in this year. Of these 8 gr8nls, 4 lumed Into 8 crisis loan. £8.09012023- £10,919) was p8ld in grants and
donations lo members and former rnemb6rs or thelr dependants. Trustee representation a¢ro$$ tho COLJnty Is
nslanlly monitored to be able lo iden￿ty new cases of need.
During the y88r the Iruslees h8ve followed the PDllcy Ihat.a quorum shall be entltled lo mako a Grant not
excaeding 5% of Ihe total investment and cash assats of th8 fund, as publlsh&d in the Annual report.

The fund was established under rules adopted in January 1968 as amended on 17 March 1994..The property of
the fund Is vested In trustees 2nd th& m8n8g8ment Is through tha Exè¢uUv¢ Commltt66. The fund Is now worklng
tts the rèvlséd consltutlon 8doptad In 2014.

Membership is open to police officers of any rank 38rving Norfolk Con5tsbulary. Thè Exgoutlve Commlltse Is
elected by the membars.

Income Sn the year end9d 31 Decembtrr 2024 amounted to £56.883 {2023: £46,233). Of whlch. ho15day home
rental amounted lo £13,81012D23.. £12,096).
Expenditure in the year ended 31 December 2024 amounted lo £39,11712023- £41,614).
The net recelpl In the y88r to 31 De¢èmbar 2024 amounted to £17,766 12023.. net receipt of £4,619) which has
in¢reased tho balan¢e of Ga$h funds lo £96,025 12023; £78.2591 at the year-end dale and remains to be carried
forwald. The nel payment Is expected and In linè wlth the Reserves policy noted below.
