## **Activities & Charitable Objects:-** 

Income to be applied primarily in or towards the maintenance and repair of the fabric of the parish church of Haxey, but exclusive of the chancel, and subject thereto in or towards defraying the other expenses usually covered by a church rate. 

## ANNUAL REPORT 2025 

Income from rents of £3,343.88 is similar to last year. Dividends from investments increased from £19,995.23 to £21,458.48 which represents a 7.32% increase. The overall income (including rents) has increased by 7.1% on last year. Which is almost entirely due to the dividends from the investment accounts. 

The maintenance fee for the current account was, until September, £5 a month plus 40p for the processing of cheques. In total, for the year, the charge is £40.80. The maintenance fee has since been dropped by the bank. 

There was the usual payment of the Axholme Water Level Management Board fee which increased by £10.44 to £84.94. That represents a 14% increase (the previous year had been a 5% increase). 

Due to a large amount of cash in the current account at the start of the year, £25,000 was moved to the investment accounts as agreed by the trustees in October 2024. The current account at the end of December 2025 stood at £52,337.09. 

At 31 December 2025, the total market value of investments (including the value of the deposit account) was £787,651.23 which represents a yearly fall in value of 1.35% on the previous year. The fall could reflect some market uncertainty due to challenging global issues this past year. Total investments, including the investment funds, deposit fund and current account, have decreased by £10,905.39 (-1.28%).
