Treasurer David Meredith Independent Examiner Peter Jenkins 12-Jun-25

Examiner's Comments

The end of the life of the buildings as almshouses occurred in June 2023.They had been built in the 1870s and their value written off. The £ 367,980 proceeds of sale was received on 23rd February 2024. The charity began in 18th century and there was only the mention that in the event of a winding up , preference should be given to the needy in St David's and St Mary's parishes. The Trustees have resolved to honour this by altering the objectives for the benefit of the two churches there, both of which have community based projects identified.
