The trustees invite or receive requests for funding from organisations providing health and care services for medical and ancillary equipment in accordance with the objectives of the trust as set out in the scheme of commissioners dated 24 April 1995.
Objects: 1) THE SUM OF ú200 PER ANNUM OR SUCH OTHER SUM AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE UPON WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE COMMISSIONERS TO BE GIVEN FOR THE USE OF ST MARY'S CHURCH BALHAM IN OR TOWARDS THE UPKEEP AND REPAIR OF THE FABRIC OF THE CHURCH AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE SERVICES THEREIN. 2) THE RESIDUE TO BE USED FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE PRESENT AREA OF THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES OF WEST LAMBETH AND WANDSWORTH RELATING TO HOSPITAL SERVICES (INCLUDING RESEARCH) OR TO ANY OTHER PART OF THE HEALTH SERVICE ASSOCIATED WITH ANY HOSPITAL IN THE SAID AREA AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT: PROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL NOT APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY DIRECTLY IN THE RELIEF OF RATES, TAXES, OR OTHER PUBLIC FUNDS BUT MAY APPLY THE INCOME IN SUPPLEMENTING RELIEF OR ASSISTANCE PROVIDED OUT OF PUBLIC FUNDS.
