**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF THE GEOLOGY, FAUNA, FLORA AND PHYSICAL FEATURES OF THE COUNTY AND TO INCREASE THE INTEREST IN, AND STUDY OF EVERY BRANCH OF NATURAL HISTORY.

**Activities:** Promote the thorough investigation of the geology, fauna, flora & physical features of the County: bring together the interest in & study of every branch of natural history; hold & maintain library, records & reference material. Major activities:- Programme of Spring & Summer Field Meetings; Programme of Winter indoor meetings culminating with annual Recorders Meeting; Publication of Transactions.
