Promoting the devdopment of musical appreck8￿On by the general publ￿, by commissioning of new works and perfomiance of unusual and sometimes rarety perfomed repertoire. The advancement of musical edu￿"an in general. Organisation A board of trustees of up to 8 members. who meet a year administers the charity. An Artistic Director is appointed to markage the day-t¢>day operations of the charity. Review of activities The Nash continued their coliat(Jration with the 14ifb3more hall a5'Resident Chamber Ensemble.. This has included education events such as open rehearsals. talks and film showings. as well concert collaborations. The main series during the 202>24 season at Wigmore Hall hfds entitled "From My Homeland- Music from the Czech Lands with works by Brahms-. The Sefies Showc&￿ s(Mne of the most vibrant, imaginative and unsual works written in the 1800s and 19008, as well as MUS￿ by Johannes Brahms- frEnd and champion of Antonin Dvorak. The Series also included a day of concerts. films and talks dediGated to the viclims of the Theresienstadt COn￿ntratIon Camp btheen 194145. The annual Nash Inventions concert on 26th March 2024 at WwJmore Hall fomied part of a celebration of the lrfe and work Harrison Bithsue (1934-2022). We ￿ntInued our collaboration Side by SKle th Rordl Academy of Music's instrumentsl players and composers. Nash players Masdair Beatson I piano) and David Adams I vida) cx)ached the students and then took part in the 'Side by Side. concert on 26th March 2024 at WigM￿e Hall. The Nash ComMiss￿ned composers Mary Offer and Toby Amderson to write n8w piece for the cCccas￿n. Mary Offer, RAM student comwser, $8id 'The Nash EnSeM￿e were wonderful to work with. and I particuLgdy enjoyed working dire¢tty with David Adams". r( was amaing and very inspiring lo be ab￿ to discuss compositional ideas with a professional violisL as a violist mysdf. It was wonderful to be able to rehèarse the piece with the perfomiers and ￿llaborate both with Nash perfomiers and very talented Academy musicians. The opportunity to have a piece premiered at the Wigmore Hall has been phenomenal at this stsge in my career. and incredibly inspiring for my future work as a ciNnpw."
