Ownership and maintenance of Wimborne Minster Rectory, general purposes in connection with the Minster Church

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are:the Governors Shall Hold Wimborne Minster Endowment Fund Upon Trust To Invest The Same And To Apply The Income Thereof To:(1) First Discharge The Proper Expenses, Costs And Charges Incurred By The Governors In Running The Charity;(2) Then To Pay One Third Of The Remaining Income To Queen Elizabeth’s School Trust A Charity Registered In England And Wales Under Number 306213; And (3) Then To Apply The Remaining Two Thirds Of The Income To The Charitable Purposes Laid Out In Sub-Clause (4) Below As The Governors In Their Absolute Discretion Shall Think Fit: (4) For The Public Benefit:(a) Within The Church Of England Benefice Which From Time To Time Includes Wimborne Minster For The Advancement Of The Christian Religion; And/or(b) For The Advancement Of Education; In Particular Without Limitation Directly Or Indirectly By:(i) Preserving, Maintaining, Improving, Restoring, Caring For And Adorning And Decorating The Fabric Of Wimborne Minster Its Surrounds And Graveyard, Graves, And Vaults And Any Other Related Property (“The Minster”), And The Goods And Ornaments Thereof; (Ii) Providing For Music To Be Played At The Minster, Including Without Limitation By The Provision Of: A Choir, Choir Master, Organist And Other Musicians; Music; And Musical Instruments Including Without Limitation An Organ; (Iii) Employing And Or Paying Wages For The Vergers And Other Staff Needed To Work At The Minster As The Governors May Agree From Time To Time; (Iv) Advancing Education Of The Public In The History Of The Minster And Matters Relating Thereto; And (V) Supporting The Ministry Of The Christian Faith With Christian Outreach To Provide Grants, Items And Services To Individuals In Need And/or To Charities Or Other Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty.
