Feoffees report for the year 2023
This year we had new trustees joining the trust, so we drew up a new trust document with the solicitors Tozers which was a good thing as it was good to welcome new people to the trustee board. We gave a big thank you to those who had been with us for many years and done great service to the trust. We supported the parish of St. Lukes maintenance at Holy trinity church yard which always needs work being carried out. Plus, support for St. Luke’s church which also needs support with rising costs and a smaller congregation. We gave the year 6 primary school leavers a £15 book token and I and another trustee attend the end of term assembly which is always good to do.
We also supported Dean Prior church with money for repairs to the stonework on the Lych gate. Dean Prior is a church in our mission community who it was good to help. We also donated to the Buckfastleigh Relief charity which supports families in our community with low incomes. We also gave donations to the Wigram community association to support the newsletter they distribute which is a good means of communication in our community. Janet Jones
