Report for the activities carried out by the trust during 2020. This year has been affected by covid and we had to cancel our summer meeting and spoke to on another by phone and did have zoom meeting. As trustees we have discussed the situation with our property 2 Elliot Plain and as we charge a low rent and we are support a young family and this does not cover any major repairs we might have to carry out. Also, legislation for landlords is more stringent and although we have always kept the property in a good condition we feel it might be the time to sell it. After discussion the trustees agreed to put the property on the market after the covid situation improves. But at the end of the year our tenant for personal reasons decided to move to a housing association in Newton Abbot so our property became vacant. We then contacted agreed to contact our local estate agent, Modern Move, to put the property on the market. We needed to appoint a solicitor and after discussion we appointed Tozers of Exeter to deal with the transactions. As we only have 7 trustees, we are working hard again to appoint new trustees from our community. We gave £5,000 to the local youth club to help it through covid And gave the local school Children who were leaving the primary school this Summer a £15 book voucher.
