Famtly News - Mike Hasdell is a lot better and attended the Meeting today. Pat Edwards
is being advised at￿ut possible cancer treatment. J&kie has been given antibiotics for a
chest infection. Dave has finished his radiotherdpy. D8￿ne'S face is much improved.
Flnance Report- Nigel explained that the working account has £9,800. Building Fund has
£11,480. Trustee account £28,000 and interest ts £4,600 to May. Charity Account £432.99.
Room hire is up to £4,000 to May after increase to room users. NTrgel feels that the
offertory could redu￿ afler the loss of some members. Outgoings so far this year total
£13.400. Nigel is now looking at daiming for 2 years Gift AKI. NW Nyas thanked.

Preachern - Jackie reported that most Sundays have been filled tetween May and
December.
Sponsored Chlld Upd•te- Jackie had nothing to rep)rt at present.
L088 of John Evans - John passed away on the 13 March after a short illness. His loss
has b88n felt deeply by all the congregat￿n. His funeral VMS on tr￿ 08 April. At the
Deacons Meeting the vacancy of a Church S￿tary was discussed and all felt only Jenny
Was able to be considered for this rost, which has now taken on.
Upcomlng E￿nts - It was d8cided to have a Garden Party on the 06 July 11an - 3pm.
And to have an Afternoon Tea on the 31 August 2pm - 4pm.
Church Roof -After heavy rain recently Gez ¢2lled in Howard Cusden from Roofcare.
Howard will need to erect scaffolding to deal with the water ingress.
Disabled Ramp-After heavy rain goi in underthe ramp in the Hall, Gez contacted Jim
Goodridge who will repair the ramp, paint rt and replace the lamps in the Sanctuary vthilst
the pain is drying.
Tru8te88hlp of the Church - The Deacons and the Trustees felt that, with the loss of
John's expertise in managing this, y￿ should ask the Federation to take over as Trust￿.
This will not in any way affect the aut(Ytomy of Church Meeting to run the Church. Gez
8xplained that the Federation would need a copy of the Minutes of this Meeting. a copy of
the Church's insurance, the Deeds and 3 years aco)unts. Gez proFK)sed, seconded by
Dave Ktng and passed.
Church Membership- Jackre said Martin Garrett hay asked for Church membership.
Martin ha5 been attending services for over 2 years. The Deacons had discussed the
proposal. Proposed by Gez Matthews. 8eLx)nded by John Lov8 and passed.
Proposal for a Deacon -After disCuss￿n with the Deacons, the membership was asked
to consider Val Dumbleton to jcAn the Dixonate. Val has been a member for over 9 years.
