The financial statements have b¢en prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set oul in note 1 to the
financial statements and comply with the charity's governing dc>cumenl. the Charities Aci 2011 and"Accounting an

The objects of the charity are:
The repair and maintenance of the parish church of St. Martin.,
The relief of persons resldenl within the area of benefit, who are in need, hardshlp or distress,.

12024.. £143,255). Total funds carrled forward amount to £1,899,653 12024.. £1.858.796), which comprise5 the

Goingconcern
After making appropriate enquiries, tha Trustee5 have a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate
resource$ to continue in operational gX151ence for the foreseeable future. For this reason. they eontinué to adopt the
gctlng a)ncern basis in preparing the final￿al statements.

The principal objects of the Charity relate to the maintonan¢è and repair of Ihfy ¢hurches of Sl Martin 8nd Sl Helen.
Quinquennial reports detailing the work lo be carried out are prepared. Funds are advanced lo the PCC as they are
requ8sled as work is carried out. Th$ fvnds retained reflect the requlrernenls sel out in thè quinquennial reports an(J
incIud8 a reserve for possible addttional costs and addition81 work the need for which may become apparent as
wurk is carried out.
Feoffees will continue to Seek and review grant applications that are compatible with the objec15 of the charliy.

Tha Parish Feoffrllenl and Ann Wright Charity is governed under the scherne of 27th April 2005 and managed by
tha trustees at regular meetings. Tho ITUStees meet four lim&s pèr annum and delegate the management of the day
to day running of the charity's affairs to the clerk.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the charity's scherne dated 27 April 2005.
the Charities Ad 2011, FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of

The charity has taken advantage of the proviskins in the SORP for charlties not to prepare a Staternenl of
Cash Flow&
The financial stalements have departed from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) REgulaliun5 2008 only to
thè extent rèquirèd to Provide a true and fair view. This departure has Involved ft>llowing the Ststement of
Recornrllended Practice for charities applying FRS 102 rather than the vorsion of the Slalement of
Recommended Practice which is referrèd to in Ihe Règulations but which has since been withdrawrb.
The financial slalements are prepared In sterling, which Is the fijnctlonal currenoy of the charity. Monetary
amounts in these financial slalgmenls are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial slalem8nts have been prepared under the historical cosl convgntSon, modrf5ed lo include the
revaluation of investment properties and certain financial inslrurnonls at fair value. The principal accounting
pokncAes adopted a￿ set ¢ul ￿lOW.
1.2 Going concern
At the lime Of approving the finanaal statemen15, the Iruslee8 have a reasonabte expectation that the charity
has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the Iruslees
continue lo adopt the going concam basi$ of accounting in preparing the finanoial slatemenls.

Unrestricted funds are availabl8 for use at the discration of thè trustees in furtheran¢e of thelr charitable
objectives.
Endowment funds are subject to 5peafic conditions by donors that the capital must be maintained by the
charity.
1.4 Income

Expenditurg is da&8rfied by activty. The c081s of each actlvlty are made up of the total of direct costs and
shared costs, including support costs involved in undertaking each activity. Direct costs attributable lo a sin9le
activity are allocated directly lo that activity. Shared costs which contribute to more than one activity and
support Costs which are not attributable lo a single activity are apportioned betsveÈn those activities on a basi5
consistent with the use of r080urces. Central staff costs aTe allocated on the basis of time spènt, and
depreciation charges ar& allocated on the portion of thè assef s use.
ExpendItu￿ Dn raising funds in¢ludes all expenditure incurrad by the charity lo raised fvnds for ts charitable
purpose8 and includes costs of all fundraising actlvilie$. gvenls and non-charitable trading.
Expenditure on charitable actiwlles is incurred on diredly undertaking the activities whi¢h further the charitls
objectives, as well any associated support costs.

1.9 Financial instruments
The charity has elected lo apply the pro￿$10n$ of Section 11 'B8Stc Financial Instruments, and Section 12
'oth8r Financial Instruments Issues, of FRS 102 to all of Ils fflnanclal Instruments.
