Objectives and activities
The object of tlie Cl)arity is Ilie provision 2nd maintenance of a village hall for the use of the
inliabitants of the area of Ilie former Comimunity of Llanaber (to include Boiitddu, Taicynhaeaf,
Farcyiiys, Caerdeon, Penmaenpool) without dislinction of political, religious or otlier opinions,
iiicluding use for Ineetings, lectures and classes, aiid foi. otlier forins of recreation and Icisure-
time occupation, with Ilie object of improving Ilie coiidilioiis of life for the said inhabitants. All
activities are carried out witli regard to the Charity Conimissioii's Public Benefit Guidaiice.
April 24- April 25 we continued to expand comniunity activities to include our first free
coinniunity inforinmlion event oli Neurodiversity in cliildren (20 atlendces), first aid training and
a iiew Christmas pop up clioir. We offered our first volunteer placeineiit to a local Duke of
Edinburgli Broiize applicant.

Neuadd y Pentre also continued to fundraise for local cliarities. We liosted the first Community
Carol event at St Philips churcli, Caerdeon, raising £122 for Friends of Friei)dless Churches. St
Philips is a much loved loeal landmark building, witli historical 5ignificaiice for many families in
the area. We opened the liall to support the local Christmas Trdctor Lights Parade. raising £45 for
tlie DPJ Foundation.
Achievement5 and performance
llie i'enovations of the village liall fuiided by Manlell Gwynedd (£76,351) were completed in
February 2025, and included new roof insulatioii, iiew double glazed windows throughout, triple
pliase elcclricity iiisiallation with clectric boiler, new catcring sttindard kit¢lien, new hot water
system. replaceineiit of lighting tliroughout witli LED low energy lighting. We have since started
a campaign to advertise the hall for hire to inci'ease i'ental income.
The cominunity worked liard to keep tlje hall open during tlie works so tliat the renovation didn't
have a big impact on the coinmunity or iiicoine. Froin April 24 - April 25 166 evenls were
supported, with 2515 individual engagements, These included cominitlee n)eetings, weekly line

Financial review
Policy on reserves.. we do not hold reserves as our charity income and expenditure are both
normally very low and w¢ barely cover our costs. We do not have sufficient funds to justify a
separate res¢rv¢ account. We tlierefor¢ do not have a i'eserves policy. Any sui'plus funds are lield
in the current accoLTnl and it is our pi'aclice to discuss a51 significant and irregular expenditure
(>£1 00) at General Meetings to ensure there is broad Inembership buy in.
No funds are materially in deficit.
